Wazoku gets Go-Ahead for new client

Leading train and bus operator Go-Ahead Group has become that latest company to use Fig portfolio company, Wazoku’s, Idea management software.

It joins a long list of high profile customers, including the University of Oxford, Aviva, Waitrose and the BBC.

Go-ahead (which owns London Midland, Southern and Southeastern train franchises and operates on behalf of Transport for London) has implemented Wazoku’s platform to capture and implement ideas from its 26,000 employees across the group’s 11 different companies.

This follows a successful pilot scheme at train operating company Southeastern last year. Over the course of the pilot, hundreds of ideas were submitted from employees, including new energy saving and cost-cutting suggestions.

The Wazoku tool enables organisations to create internal or external communities for ideas, innovation, feedback and insight. It also allows employees to discuss, develop and vote on ideas. This is not only a tool to improve service for customers and internal processes but also increases employee engagement.

“We’re committed to listening to employees and improving services for our customers and this new platform compliments these aims,” said Enrique Fernandez-Pino, group IT and strategy director at the Go-Ahead Group.

Congratulations to Wazoku as the company continues to see both national and global demand for its software.
