These semi-finalists have now been invited to attend training workshops at FIG HQ over the next fortnight where the six best businesses will be chosen to pitch their idea to a panel of judges for a share of£40,000 in grant money at the RBS EnterprisingU final on Tuesday July 17. The panel of judges includes Peter Ibbetson, RBS Small Business Chairman and Rupert Turnball, the publisher of Wired Magazine.
The RBS EnterprisingU competition, run by FIG and sponsored by the RBS Group and LinkedIn, is the world’s biggest graduate business plan competition, set up to reward and recognise enterprising young businesses.
At the event, held at City University, three finalists will take home £25,000, £10,000 and £5000 in cash to invest in their business ideas or existing business.
